Sri Lanka's most accessible reef snorkel from shore — sea turtles, reef sharks, and hard corals all reachable without a boat.

A marine national park along the southwestern coast at Hikkaduwa, established in 2002. Fringing coral reefs, lagoons, and a network of shallow bays support sea turtles, reef sharks, and over 60 species of hard coral.
