The only realistic wave near Arugam Bay from December to March, though windier and murkier then.
A right-hand point at the southern end of a long beach, about 20 minutes by tuk-tuk south of Arugam Bay, with a main point and a smaller baby point beside it. Surf schools fill it from May to August; wild elephants cross the access track and crocodiles live in the lagoon behind.
