Beginner-friendly surf at the foot of a climbable rock, with crocodiles in the lagoon behind, so stay on the sea side.
A rock headland south of Arugam Bay, reached by the Panama road to the end of Kudakalliya Beach and a 200-metre walk. The wave is a fat, mellow right over boulders and sand that suits beginners and lower intermediates, with rides of up to 400 metres on the right day.
