Named after Sir Thomas Lipton, who used this spot to survey his tea plantations — clearest views are between 6 and 10 am before cloud rolls in.

A clifftop viewpoint high above the Dambatenne tea estate, reached by a few kilometres of switchbacks above Haputale town. On clear mornings the view stretches across the southern plains toward the coast.
