One of the few places on the island where a guided trip ends at a natural pool entirely underground.
An underground pool deep inside a cave system at Karandagolla, east of Ella. Reaching the water takes a rope-assisted descent of about 50 metres and another 45 minutes through narrow passages, so the site is visited only on guided caving trips.
