A relic-landing legend, a lagoon bridge and an open view over the bay, with Seruwila's stupa 8 km inland.

A temple on a headland about 50 km south of Trincomalee where tradition says Prince Dantha and Princess Hemamala landed with the Buddha's Tooth Relic from Kalinga in the 4th century. Ruins of an old dagaba, balustrades and a pond spread over about 50 acres beside a new temple, reached by a 150-metre lagoon bridge opened in 2017.
