Islewise is an independent, hand-curated travel guide to Sri Lanka. It's maintained by a single editor and is not affiliated with any tourism board, hotel, or the places it lists.

If you create an account, you're responsible for what happens under it and for the accuracy of the details you sign in with. Don't use someone else's account or share yours in a way that puts their data at risk.

Use the site for planning your own travel. Don't misuse it — no bulk copying, no attempts to disrupt or interfere with the service, and nothing unlawful.

Suggesting a place is voluntary. When you do, you give Islewise permission to use, edit, and publish what you submit as part of the guide. Only submit things you have the right to share. The editor reads every suggestion and may decide not to include it.

Islewise is a guide, not professional travel, safety, medical, or legal advice. Details can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date — opening hours change, roads close, conditions shift. Check the important things yourself before you travel or rely on them. Islewise isn't responsible for the places it lists or for other websites it links to, and doesn't endorse them.

The original writing, selection, and layout of the guide belong to Islewise. Facts, place names, and public information are not claimed. Please don't republish the guide's text as your own.

As far as the law allows, Islewise isn't liable for any loss or harm that comes from using the site or relying on its content. You use it at your own discretion.

Features may change or be removed, and these terms may be updated. The effective date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
