Open Wednesday to Monday, closed Tuesdays, for a ticket of a few rupees; the building is as much the exhibit as the displays.

A museum in a 17th-century colonnaded house on Lavender Lane near Fort Frederick, the residence of the Dutch naval commissioner and later the British urban commissioner until 1948. Restored with Dutch government help and opened in February 2013, its ground floor covers naval history and underwater heritage and the upper floor marine ecosystems.
