A ruined temple on the northern edge of Lahugala National Park, about 11 km from Pottuvil, credited to King Kavan Tissa in the 2nd century BCE or to Dhatusena in the 5th century CE. Legend places the wedding of Kavantissa and Viharamahadevi here, and foundations called the Magul Maduwa, the wedding hall, survive inside a walled complex with a stupa and image house.
