The swimming and picnic beach for Mannar town, on an island better known for birds and the Adam's Bridge sandbanks.
A beach on the Palk Strait side of Mannar Island about 7 km west of Mannar town, backed by palms and a few hotels, with no lifeguards and little shade. In February 2025 a district-wide clean-up of 24 Mannar coastal sites held its main event here, with 208 army troops taking part.
