A 1,400-year-old working reservoir you drive along on the way into Polonnaruwa.

A reservoir attributed to King Aggabodhi II in the early 7th century CE, beside the Habarana–Polonnaruwa road about 12 km from the ancient city. It shares a protected sanctuary with neighbouring Minneriya.
