The Lake Around Parliament

“From the waterside paths at Diyatha Uyana you look straight across the water to Bawa's Parliament on its island.

The lake at the center of Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, reshaped when the administrative capital was built around it in the early 1980s. Geoffrey Bawa's Parliament building, opened in 1982, stands on Duwa island in the middle.
