Trains crossing the bridge are the draw — timetables are widely shared online so visitors can line up to watch one pass through.

A 91-metre colonial-era stone and concrete railway bridge curving through dense jungle between Ella and Demodara stations. Built in 1921, it is still part of the active Kandy–Badulla line.
