The launching point for blue-whale-watching boat trips between December and April, when whales migrate close to shore.

A crescent-shaped bay on the southern coast, lined with palm trees and low-key seafood restaurants. The water is calm through most of the year, with some surf picking up at the eastern end near Coconut Tree Hill.
