One of the island's ten tallest waterfalls, reached from a town better known for gem mining than for tourists.

Kirindi Ella drops 116 meters in a single fall above Pelmadulla in the Ratnapura district. A ticketed entrance off Kuttapitiya Road leads to a viewing platform, with a longer stepped path continuing down to the base.
