The natural pool at the base is one of the few swimmable plunge pools on the drive between Kandy and the Knuckles range.

A waterfall just outside Huluganga town in Kandy District, about 30 km east of Kandy via the road to Bambarella. The falls drop in a single cascade into a natural pool below.
